Aboriginal Trainee – Water Treatment Plant Operator (3 Year Term)

Applications are invited from interested and ideally suitably experienced persons for the full-time position of Aboriginal Trainee – Water Treatment Plant Operator, Shire Services with the Central Darling Shire Council based in the township of Wilcannia, 200kms from Broken Hill.

This position is funded by the Aboriginal Communities Water and Sewerage Program

This is an identified position. Australian Aboriginality is a genuine occupational requirement of this position under Section 14 of the Anti-Discrimination Act 1977.

Duties involve assisting the Water Treatment Plant Operator with the operation and maintenance of Council's water supply and sewerage services including the Wilcannia Water Treatment Plant.
