Menindee Youth Camp
YOUTH WEEK- Camp!
The official Youth Week this year is held on Saturday 5th- Sunday 13th April
As I will be away for my year 12 trip to America I plan to hold this camp from the Friday 14th- Sunday 16th of March
NO SMOKING NO DRUGS NO ALCOHOL
Aim: To give the youth of Menindee the opportunity:
• to experience Youth Week;
• be part of a team; and
• to have their say in what is happening in their township.
Purpose: Drug’s, alcohol, sex, vandalism and employment are just some of the big issues with youth in our community. By having a camp the kids will be learning as well as having a bit of fun and relaxing.
With having a large group of youth in one place at the one time would also give Shire the opportunity to find out what kids would like to see around town or to happen in Menindee.
Venue: Kinchega National Park.
Target Age Group: 13-17 years (high school students).
Time: 4pm Friday 14th to 12:30pm Sunday 16th March.
Activities: Will include Swimming (if @ Copi), Movies, Various Sports, Disco (on one of the nights) and many more activities. Program details page 3.
