Australian Government Mobile Service Centre

Mobile Service Centres travel extensively throughout rural and regional Australia and also to disaster affected
areas to provide help and support. 

The Mobile Service Centre will be visiting Ivanhoe on 24 October 2017. For more information click  here

NOVEMBER

National Carp Control Plan Community forums

Wilcannia 

The National Carp Control Plan (NCCP) team, will be hosting an information evening for Wilcannia residents to discuss carp control options, focusing on the use of a species-specific virus known as Cyprinid herpesvirus 3 (the carp virus) as a biocontrol agent. The evening will provide residents with an opportunity to contribute feedback on the proposed plan and to ensure risks associated with carp biocontrol are identified and mitigated.  
The NCCP is tasked with procuring and coordinating the research, planning, and community consultation necessary to enable the Australian Government to make well-informed decisions on carp control in late 2018.  

When: 9am – 11am, Thursday 30th November 
Where: Golf Club, 1 Ross St, Wilcannia

Menindee:
