Central Darling Shire is the largest Shire in NSW and yet has the smallest population. It covers an area about the size of the main island of Tasmania and yet has a population of less than 2,000 people.
Uniting has launched a FREE service – the Energy Support Program – designed to help NSW households save on their electricity and gas bills. This service is independent of energy companies.
Uniting is a community organisation who work to support people in need. They have been delivering energy support for over 25 years across Victoria, NSW, QLD and Tasmania.
They can help you to:
• Find a cheaper energy offer – this could save you hundreds
• Ensure you are receiving the energy concessions you are entitled to – to help lower your energy bills
• Get help from your retailer if you are struggling to pay your energy bill or get help fixing a billing error
• Access a debt relief voucher
• Get simple information on how you can reduce the amount of electricity and gas you use in the home
• Set up an affordable payment plan with your retailer
You are eligible if you live in NSW and want support with any of the issues above. If you are unsure and need assistance, please get in touch and they will try to assist you.
