Infrastructure

Works under way

Keep up to date with the works being undertaken in Central Darling Shire, including significant roadworks as well as local infrastructure.

Water services

Learn all about your domestic water service, sign up for the MiWater monitoring site and find out if water restrictions are in place in your town.

Driving on our roads

The vast area that Central Darling Shire covers means that road conditions and closures can change regularly and suddenly. We have a number of roads which are hundreds of kilometres long, and it is advisable to check not only local conditions, but conditions ahead to ensure you can travel safely.
Use caution when driving on unsealed roads, regardless of the local weather conditions.

Acknowledgement of Country

Council respectfully acknowledges the traditional owners, the Barkindji people, as the custodians of this land. We pay respect to all Aboriginal community Elders, past and present, who have resided in the area and have been an integral part of the history of the region.
