STAY AT HOME

Stay at home directions are still in place across the whole of NSW and will continue until 11.59pm Friday 10 September 2021. This means you cannot have visitors to your home, including family and friends, and you can’t visit people on a social basis, including family and friends.

You can leave home for essential purposes which includes

  • Grocery shopping (only one member of the household)
  • Getting a test
  • Getting a vaccine
  • Seeking medical assistance for illness or ongoing conditions
  • Welfare checks for residents who are living alone.

There are guidelines on visiting residents who live alone, who are frail or aged, or are vulnerable. Only one person should visit one vulnerable person under the Singles Bubble provisions. This person should not be visiting others. Further guidelines are available on the NSW Health COVID-19 website.

VACCINATION CLINIC

The Royal Flying Doctor Service is hosting its Wilcannia Vaccination Clinic today (Thursday) from 11am to 4pm and tomorrow (Friday) between 10am and 1pm.

TESTING CLINIC

The Wilcannia Drive Through Testing Clinic will now be open between 9am and 2pm seven days per week and remains at the Oval.

With the prediction of thunderstorms over the weekend, drive through testing clinics will be open for two hours over the weekend, ensuring the safety of both workers and residents. Home visits for residents who require either a Day 5 or Day 12 test will be put in place during this time.
