Central Darling Shire Council will be reopening its offices and depots to the public from Monday, 18 October 2021.

The reopening will be in line with the current NSW Government Public Health Orders, which includes the requirement to “check in” and wear a mask at all times when inside council offices or dealing with staff.

The Menindee Library will require patrons to be double vaccinated and show evidence of that. To ensure the Public Health Order can be met, the Menindee Library area will be roped off to allow staff to comply with these requirements.

There is also a maximum number of people allowed in buildings at one time.

Halls and meeting rooms will remain closed for private hire.

CAPACITY RULES

  • Wilcannia Administration Office will be able to accept two people at a time.
  • Menindee Rural Transaction Centre will be able to accept three people at one time. This includes shared public spaces.
  • The Ivanhoe Multi Service Office can accept two people at a time.
  • All Council depots can only welcome two members of the public at the same time.

The Wilcannia Post Office will also reopen to the public, with two customers allowed in the building at a time. Masks and check in is also mandatory.

All entry and capacity requirements are in line with NSW Government regulations and Council urges all our communities to support staff by following the rules.

The White Cliffs Caravan Park will also reopen on Monday 18 October 2021 and will be complying with Public Health Order rules surrounding that business.

Council’s swimming pools are now scheduled to reopen on Monday, 8 November 2021.
