The Barrier Highway between Wilcannia and Broken Hill remains closed to all traffic. The detour via the Wilcannia-Menindee West Road is open with caution. The overland flow has reached the road 21km south of Wilcannia and the water level here rose 150mm overnight. At the current flow rate, this road will be closed in two days. Two graders are working on the Wilcannia-Menindee East Road to repair damage and washouts. This road is expected to be opened with caution tomorrow.
