Supporting National Tree Day

Central Darling Shire Council has acquired a number of trees to be distributed to our communities for planting in their own gardens at no cost.

This is to support and celebrate the collective impact of National Tree Day across Australia.

National Tree Day this year is being held on Sunday 26 July 2026. It is Australia's largest community tree planting and nature care initiative.

Free trees will be available for local residents to collect from 9am Monday 27 July 2026 at the locations below:

• Wilcannia Council Chambers - 21 Reid Street Wilcannia
• Ivanhoe MSO - 32 Columbus Street Ivanhoe
• Menindee RTC - 51 Yartla Street Menindee
• White Cliffs Council Depot - Beth Street White Cliffs
• Tilpa Hotel – Darling Street Tilpa
