Central Darling Shire Council is seeking Expressions of Interest from Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people to become members of the Central Darling Aboriginal Consultative Committee.
This committee will provide advice to Council on matters affecting Aboriginal communities and help ensure Aboriginal perspectives are considered in Council planning, policy development and service delivery.
Members will:
• Provide advice to Council on issues affecting Aboriginal communities
• Help identify community priorities and opportunities
• Contribute to Council planning, projects and services
• Support culture, heritage, reconciliation and community development
• Strengthen communication between Council and Aboriginal communities
