Council is required under the Integrated Planning and Reporting (IP&R) framework to review and update its Community Strategic Plan (CSP) and Delivery Program by 30 June following an election of councillors.
Due to time constraints because of Council being announced 31 October 2025, a full revision of the Community Strategic Plan could not be done and adopted before 30 June 2026 as required. Accordingly, Council was requested to re-adopt the current Strategic Plan and Delivery Program in a separate report.
Sufficient work has now been done and a revised draft of the Community Strategic Plan and Delivery Program (2026–2028) have been prepared following strategic review work and community engagement activities.
The revised documents are now on public exhibition in accordance with statutory requirements.
Once these revised documents are adopted Council will have a fully revised Community Strategic Plan and revised Delivery Program that corresponds with its term.
