Far West NSW is currently experiencing power disruptions. This is because of a storm which has caused substantial damage to power infrastructure.
Visitors that are booked into the caravan park on the nights that there is an planned power outage will be advised and offered a refund.

Essential Energy Outage Information

The new amenities block at Wilcannia's Victory Caravan Park is proving popular with travelers.

The park reopened in February 2024 after it was closed to allow for major improvement works, including the amenities block,  valued at close to $500,000. 

The Commonwealth Government’s Murray Darling Basin Economic Development Program has been the primary funding source for the project.

The Caravan Park is located along the banks of the Darling River (Baaka) at Wilcannia.

The caravan park is well located off the Barrier Highway and caters for both caravans and those wanting to pitch a tent.

There are 40 powered sites available.

When you stay at Victory Caravan Park it is an easy relaxing walk to the town.

Amenities that are provided include toilets, showers and laundry facilities.

If you are looking to stay at the park you are encouraged to plan ahead, because it can book out.
