2026 Telstra Connected Communities Grant

The 2026 Telstra Connected Communities Grant Program is now open, offering practical support to help remote, rural and regional communities.

Key dates
• Applications close: 5pm (AEDT), Thursday 26 March 2025
• Funding available this round: $200,000
• Grant amounts: Up to $10,000 per project
• Successful applicants announced: June 2026
• Project delivery period: 12 months, completed by June 2027

$10,000 FRRR ABC Heywire Youth Innovation Grants

Grants of up to $10,000 are available for communities and young people across Australia to design local solutions addressing the six issues identified at the Heywire Summit.

Essential Grants Program

The Essential Grants Program is empowering regional communities across NSW to “spark change” through projects that create real social impact, support a sustainable future, and boost climate resilience.

The Essential Grants Program is open for applications from 2 February 2026 until 5:00 pm AEDT on 31 March 2026.

Council Community Grants Application form

The Community Grants program for 2025/2026 has now closed with all available funding allocated.

Please check back in July 2026 for the next round. 

Community grants are available with up to $1,000 allocated per grant application, for community groups and organisations in Central Darling Shire.

The grants can be applied for when applications are called.

Central Darling Shire Councillors make the decision about whether a grant application is successful.
